Mark Sweeny was a key player in the regulatory, quality and compliance function at Applied Biosystems from 1990 until he joined Myraqa in 2008. During his time at AB, Mark was instrumental in creating and leading several functions for much of the early life of the company, including Regulatory/Quality Compliance, Document Control, EHS, Chemical Compliance and Risk Management. Mark has been involved in all phases of strategic planning, process development and project management.
While at AB, Mark played a central role in the project to obtain clearance for the 7500 Fast DX and laid the groundwork for other successes to come.
Mark holds a BA from SJSU, earned his Master’s in Human Resources and Organization Development from USF and holds a multiple subject teaching credential.
