Analytical Sensitivity

The analyte concentration at which 95% of the test results are positive.  This is determined by performing multiple runs of the zero calibrator.  It can be determined by the intercept of the calibration curve when the concentration of analyte is zero.  The study to address analytical sensitivity typically uses spiked samples or otherwise non-clinical samples.
