Correlation

A measure of the degree of linear relationship between two variables.  Correlation (r) varies from -1.00 to +1.00.  Negative correlation means that as one variable decreases, the other increases.  Positive correlation means that the variables change in the same direction (i.e., both increase or both decrease).
