Food and Drug Administration

The FDA is a part of the Department of Health and Human Services. It is FDA’s job to protect the public health by ensuring the safety of food products and the blood supply. In addition, they are responsible for ensuring that drugs, devices, biologics, and veterinary products are both safe and effective.
